What are the qualifications for the test?

According to CDC guidelines, if you have one or more of the following symptoms:

Cough, fever, Shortness of Breath, sore throat, headache, diarrhea, malaise. You should also be tested if you have been exposed to a positive Covid-19 person. Patients who are without symptoms are now being accepted due to increased availability of Testing supplies.

What do I need to bring with me?

You will need to show proof of your identity, birthdate, any insurance, pre- register if you are a new patient. Established patients need to select an appointment time.

Do I need an appointment?

When completing the form below, you will be assigned a date and time to be tested

How much does the test cost?

We will be submitting your insurance information from our office and for Accu Reference/Clarity Lab for billing. Cash patients will be charged $100 for both tests.  Accu- Reference/Clarity Diagnostic Lab will bill your insurance company, this is a separate bill. The Covid-19 testing may be covered by the CDC guidelines. We will submit uncovered bills to CDC but cannot guarantee government reimbursement.

How is my sample for testing collected?

The Technicians will ask you to angle your head backwards, presenting you nose for a small swab to be inserted into your naso- pharynx. This may be uncomfortable but is necessary for a quality test. The Blood Test is obtained like any blood draw of just one tube.

How do I get the results?

Your report will be received in our office and emailed to you. Negatives will be emailed not called.

If your test is positive, we will call you regarding your medical care and precautions to others.

All positive tests will be referred to the Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) for contact tracing. You will be receiving follow up from SNHD.

When will I receive the results?

Three to seven days. If you have symptoms, we highly suggest you quarantine yourself until you receive the results.

What if my results are positive?

If your test is positive, we will call you regarding your medical care and precautions to others.

What if my results are negative?

If your results are negative, you will receive a call from the medical staff at Dubin Wellness and the results will be mailed or emailed to you.

Can I walk in?

Yes, but Unregistered Patients will be subject to prolonged wait times as Registered Patients arrive. It is highly recommended to register on-line or call the office in advance to help with registration if you do not use the internet. 

What if I need to bring my kids or other family members?

We understand that this may be necessary; however, only patients who have qualified and scheduled a visit online can be tested. Patients must be at least 18. Unregistered Family Members must wait in their car. Under no circumstance should any children be left in the car unattended.
